Understanding Guna-Milan
Guna-Milan means "matching of qualities". It is the traditional Vedic way of checking compatibility, also called Ashtakoota, meaning "eight categories". Both people's birth Moon sign and Nakshatra are compared across eight areas, worth 36 points in total.

Reading the Hearts
Each area shows a heart with its score. A red heart is a strong match, a pink heart a partial match, and a blue heart an area to work on together. The total out of 36 gives the overall verdict: Fair, Good, Very good or Excellent. The Mars balance line shows whether your Mars energy is evenly matched.
