Principles

You only get what you give away. Love as if your life depended on it.

Nature abhors a vacuum. The Earth becomes filled with life in the remotest places, and feelings can flood the coldest heart. When we feel a lack of love or friendship, we often go out seek it in the most desperate ways. When we make an effort to give what we crave, we receive it in abundance.

Offer comfort to the weary, and we are comforted. To grant succor to the needy is to be fed. Give love to the deserving, and we are blessed. Being loved is the measure of success. Give love freely, and you will be victorious in life.

We are all responsible for our personal growth. Hardship is an opportunity to grow faster.

Our bodies and this world are just the playgrounds of the soul. How we feel about ourselves, other living things, and our Higher Power, are all that matter. Events may hurt us or bring hardship. These can become our excuse for inaction or our stimuli for growth. A seedling can die in the dark or reach out to the sky. Your Divine is the Sun so seek and grow.

Our success does not require another's failure. Trees grow better in the forest.

When we laugh at the misfortune of others, we only hide our inner fear. Give aid where you can, but give real help. Do not tell them what to do or do it for them. Show the person your way and let them forge their own salvation. In being strong, everyone benefits from their gain.

Even tolerance can live where love cannot.

Opportunity shows us things that are beyond our love. Do not struggle against what seems impossible and feel resentment. Where loves elude us, we can find acceptance. In tolerating things, we can move on with our lives and, in some cases, grow to love.

If your Higher Power eludes you, look the other way.

If life is the journey, then the Divine has the map. Our Higher Power does not choose our destination. Our free will gives us the gift of choice. We alone can decide where we are going. If we walk a dark path for a lifetime, the Spirit of the Universe is always there to show us another way. We cannot fail the Divine only ourselves.

Open your eyes. Life is in the journey, not the destination.

In the grand scheme of things, our time in this life is so brief we should be relishing every moment and counting every blessing. Sadly we don't. We spend precious minutes waiting for the next thing rather than immersing ourselves in the now. To quote John Lennon, 'Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans.'

The Universe is singing, listen and hear the words. You learn more with your mouth closed.

Hot and cold, hatred, fear, and anger, we are given senses to experience life yet, we only gaze upon the surface of what is there. Take time to feel, taste, see, smell, and taste life, and don't stop there. Reach out with your mind and experience the world and be the world. Still your mind and try not to apply mere words, just find meanings in your heart. Let the energy in the Universe fill you and give you understanding.
