Plato (427—347 BCE)) was an ancient Greek philosopher who influenced the world of philosophy to a new level.
Plato introduced the term eidos, by which he identified the permanent reality that makes a thing what it is, in contrast to the particulars that are finite and subject to change.
When we consider absolute source of love and energy rather than admiration and emotion, we connect with ourselves and the Universal source. It is from the source we can truly focus our energy into our true intentions.
Returning to the triad of Intention, Attention, and Manifestation, we are reminded to work on the edos of our intention rather than the changeable factors surrounding it.
As an example, achieving great wealth has the eidos of a financial figure or emotional freedom, the particulars or means of achieving it are the ideas that disapate our energy and leave us open to failure. We must attain the focus on the eidos of our goal.
