Sacred Grove Community

Welcome to the Sacred Groves

Sacred Grove is a community platform that brings together like-minded individuals in topic-focused groups called "Groves." Think of Groves as dedicated spaces where you can connect, share wisdom, and grow together with others who share your interests.

Unlike traditional forums or social media, Sacred Grove is designed to foster deeper connections and more meaningful discussions in a respectful, focused environment.

Key Features

Groves - Focused Community Spaces

Groves are dedicated spaces centered around specific topics, practices, or interests. Each Grove has its own topics, discussions, and community of members, allowing for focused conversations without the noise of general forums.

Privacy Controls

Groves can be public, semi-private, or private, giving community leaders control over who can view and participate in discussions. This creates safe spaces for sharing sensitive or specialized information.

Community Governance

Each Grove has moderators and owners who help maintain a healthy, respectful environment. As the community grows, members can earn moderation privileges and even create their own Groves.

Real-time Engagement

See who's currently active in your Groves, get notifications when someone responds to your posts, and stay connected with your community through our real-time features.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I create my own Grove?

To create a Grove, you need to be an active member for at least 30 days. Once eligible, you'll see a "Create Grove" option in your user menu. Each user can create one custom Grove initially, with the possibility to create more as you build successful communities.

What happens in the Grove promotion system?

If your Grove grows to have at least 30 active members and maintains consistent engagement, it may be eligible for promotion to system status. Promoted Groves receive special visibility and resources, and the creator is freed up to create a new custom Grove while maintaining moderator status in their promoted Grove.

How can I become a moderator?

Moderators are appointed by Grove owners based on their positive contributions to the community, understanding of the Grove's topic, and demonstration of good judgment. Focus on being a helpful, active member, and express your interest in moderating to the Grove owner if you'd like to take on that responsibility.

What's the difference between a Grove owner and a moderator?

Grove owners have full control over their Grove, including settings, member approvals, and moderator appointments. Moderators can review reported content, hide/unhide posts, lock topics, and issue warnings, but cannot change Grove settings or remove members (they can only recommend these actions to the owner).

How do I report inappropriate content?

Each post has a "Report" option in its menu. Select this, choose the reason for reporting, provide any additional details, and submit. Reports are reviewed by Grove moderators, who will take appropriate action according to community guidelines.
