The New Thought author and mystic Neville Goddard said that the subconscious mind played an essential role in manifestation,
he said the subconscious had the power to 'objectify', meaning it could transform our ideas into reality.
Emotional Freedom Technique or EFT connects us to our subconscious mind? The question is 'can we use EFT to manifest our goals?'
Emotional Freedom Technique was developed in the 1970s when some doctors started stimulating acupressure points to help their patients with stress and anxiety.
Dr. Roger Callahan patented one method called Thought Field Therapy. In the 1990s, Gary Craig, an engineer working for Callaghan, developed Emotional Freedom Technique.
This self-help technique is invaluable in treating conditions like PTSD and stress by connecting with the subconscious mind. It can be used to help to unlock fears and overcome the barriers it creates. It is commonly known as tapping.
With a few simple processes, we can use Emotion Freedom Technique to pass our goals to our subconscious mind on the journey to manifestation.
EFT or Tapping consists of gently tapping on nine special points in turn while thinking or speaking empowering statements. In standard, nonclinical EFT, the nine tapping points
are the heel of the hand, the eyebrow, the side of the eye, under the eye, under the nose, chin, collar bone, under the arm, and the top of the head.
The tapping is done to the bone at each point. The sequence begins at the heel of the hand or karate chop point and ends at the top of the head.
The heel of the hand is only done once but the steps from two to nine can be repeated between three and seven times. Yawning or crying in the process is normal
and shows that it is working.
This tapping routine is designed to work on worthiness, one of the major mental blocks to manifestation. Try to say, think, and feel the statements as you lightly tap. This is EFT.
Heel of your hand
This is the cleansing and accepting part of the
process. The phrases are designed to prepare your conscious and subconscious mind for the process and is only done once.
Even though I have my flaws, I love and accept myself. Even though I have a past, I honor and respect myself. Despite my failings I love and accept myself.
