Harmonize body, mind, and spirit through sacred touch
Jin Shin Jyutsu is an ancient Japanese healing art that harmonizes the body's energy through gentle touch. By holding specific combinations of the 26 Safety Energy Locks (SELs), you can restore balance to your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
This practice works with the body's natural energy pathways to release tension, improve circulation, and promote deep healing. Each Safety Energy Lock is a concentrated sphere of energy that, when properly accessed, can unlock profound transformation and harmony within yourself.

Understanding Safety Energy Locks
The 26 Safety Energy Locks are specific locations on the body where energy tends to become stuck or congested. By gently holding these points in specific combinations, you can restore the natural flow of life energy throughout your entire system.
Each lock has its own meaning and function - from SEL 1 (Prime Mover) that helps with emergency situations and digestive issues, to SEL 26 (Completion) that brings total harmony to your being. Learning to work with these locks opens a pathway to profound self-healing.
Main Central Vertical Flow
The Main Central Vertical Flow is the foundation sequence in Jin Shin Jyutsu, supporting your ability to be yourself in the world. This powerful flow helps with back issues, digestive problems, hormonal balance, and harmonizes mind, body, and spirit.
Practice this flow daily by placing your right hand on the center top of your head while your left hand moves through the sequence: between the eyebrows, tip of nose, center of chest, base of breastbone, top of pubic bone, and inside of coccyx. Hold each position until you feel the energy flow.
Feeling the Energy Flow
One of the most beautiful aspects of Jin Shin Jyutsu is learning to feel the energy flow through your fingertips. As you hold the Safety Energy Locks, you may experience pulsing, warmth, tingling, or a sense of harmony and peace.
This pulse rhythm indicates that energy is moving and balancing. Some positions may take just a few minutes, while others might benefit from longer holds. Trust your intuition and the messages your body gives you about how long to maintain each hold.
