Allow it to happen

This morning I decided I had prayed and waited for a sign long enough, I dialed the number for Aer Lingus to discuss my upcoming flight. I was nervous and unsure about what to do, I had so many thoughts running through my head. Will my flight be canceled? Should I even go to England during a pandemic? If I don’t go now I might not be able to afford to go later with the airline prices going up. But if Dave is here for school in the fall this may be my last chance.

I was shaking my feet and fiddling with my pen, shifting in my seat and letting my nerves get the best of me. After being on hold for 10 minutes I knew I needed to do something more than stew in my anxiousness. I got up and grabbed my green aventurine (for good fortune), a citrine (to protect my pocketbook), and my unakite mala (to balance my stress and bring a grounding tranquility). On each bead of my mala, I prayed “Divine Goddess, thank you for all of my blessings. Please allow me to be open and aware of your will. I am yours.”

Before long I could feel the stress melting away, I knew in my heart that once the customer service agent got on the call my path would align with my Higher Power’s plan for me. I let go and allowed the spirit to flow through me and my faith to guide me. I’m pleased with the outcome, I’m still headed to England but switched to a flight on another day. I feel at peace knowing this is my path.
